Jennie Smith-Brock is an independent teacher-trainer and a Special Education teacher. She taught high school history for 14 years prior to shifting her focus to reading instruction after teaching her own child to read. Jennie provides training in the Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar programs to teachers in her private workshops and on campus, in the schools themselves. She is well versed in other top-notch reading programs and is qualified as an official trainer in several. Jennie was Director of an after-school tutoring clinic for elementary students at the University of Southern Maine where she also taught a course on Multi-Tier Reading Instruction and Assessment for masters degree students.
