About this speaker
Dr. Leslie Laud supports teachers nationally with strengthening their writing instruction. Her career began in NYC where she taught in both general and special education for two decades.
She holds a doctorate from Columbia University. She has led federally-funded large research studies on writing instruction, publishes empirical studies in peer-reviewed journals, consults at the district and state level, presents frequently at national conferences, and continues to enjoy teaching students to write.
