Watch Party: "The Truth About Reading"
The Truth About Reading is an eye-opening documentary that provides extensive food for thought about the current literacy landscape impact of sub-literacy well into adulthood. Several adults courageously share their stories.
This heart-wrenching film has been widely acclaimed, including being selected for the SXSW Film Festival. You will be able to watch the documentary for FREE at the Accelerate Literacy Summit and afterward there will be a Q & A panel of educators who were were featured in the film.
The viewing, as well as the subsequent panel takes place on the 23rd of June, and marks the official kick-off of the 2024 Accelerate Literacy Summit.
